One of My Favorite Genres

One of my favorite genres is Romance. I never really understood why I liked this genre. I suppose that it's because everyone enjoys imagining what they don't have. One downside to romance novels would be that they can be too much of the same thing. A girl meets a boy and then the boy sweeps her of her feet. Roll the end credits. Romance novels can be nice, but it's much better in moderation. The romance novel that I am currently reading is Once and for All by Sarah Dessen. So, what is one of your favorite genres?
